I'm sure I'm not the only one who finds it annoying when you're forced to enquire just to find out prices- that's why I like to keep my prices as transparent and simple as possible.

First, let me tell you what these prices include:

Pro Muso....

An experienced, professional musician & DJ who has played for over 500 weddings and has won multiple awards for "Best Live Entertainment" in both the Yarra Valley and Greater Melbourne.

High-end equipment including:

  • A battery powered PA for ceremonies & canapés.

  • High powered DJ PA with subwoofer. 

  • One wireless microphone for the MC & speeches.

  • Professional dance floor lights.

Travel...

Travel to the Yarra Valley, Mornington Peninsula, Melbourne City & Mount Dandenong is included. Additional travel fees apply for distances more than 50km from 3178.

Customised music...

A curated playlist for acoustic & DJ sets allowing you to personalise the music for your day and choose your favourite songs. I can also learn one new song that's not on my acoustic list (for a key moment) as part of each booking.

The Full Package

  • Coverage for your entire wedding! I'll be there setting up 2 hours before your guests arrive, and I'll be the last to leave after we say goodbye.

  • That's music for your pre-ceremony, ceremony, canapés & reception.

  • Start with live acoustic- building from chilled, romantic tunes for the ceremony, into some fun, upbeat songs and sing-alongs for the canapés and early reception, then we dance the last few hours away with a banging DJ set, filled with all your favourite songs.

  • Curated playlist played during my short breaks- no awkward silence.

  • 7 hours total. (Add or subtract time at $150/half hour).

The Ceremony

  • 30 minutes of pre-ceremony music to set the vibe as guests arrive.

  • Key songs for walking down the aisle, signing the registry and the recessional.

I can create a custom package, whether it be a birthday, engagement, private event or corporate function (or if your wedding doesn't fit into one of the above scenarios).

Optional Add-ons.

MC service: $500 inc. GST.

In most cases, this will be a separate MC (not Josh)- for information about who might be available to MC your wedding, please get in touch.

Famale vocalist (for acoustic duo): $450-750 inc. GST.

Please get in touch if you would like to add a female vocalist to your booking for the acoustic sets.

Important information/things to consider:

  • I can work with saxophone players or special FX companies (fireworks, fog etc.) when I DJ, please reach out if you'd like any recommendations.

  • Exact PA configuration will be determined based on the venue and number of guests. Some venues have strict sound restrictions and may not allow subwoofers. For smaller events (less than 120 people) I normally use Yamaha DXR10mkii speakers with a Yamaha DXS12mkii Subwoofer. For larger events (120-250 people) I normally use Yamaha DZR10 speakers with RCF905mk3 Subwoofer. I do not provide entertainment for events with over 250 guests.

  • For a full package booking, I need to be able to bump in and begin setting up at least 1.5 hours before my start time. If your venue is open to the public for lunch or does multiple weddings per day- please check that they can allow me access so I have adequate time to set up. If I'm not allowed this time to set up, I might have to complete my setup while the wedding is happening- meaning less live music at your event.

  • Dance floor lighting will be my choice, unless discussed. I use uplights, tube lights and a CR Lite Magik Scanbar. One or two of these will be utilised per booking- normally what I think will work best for the venue.

  • Please consider the weather for outdoor events- I require shelter if there's any chance of rain and shade in the event of heat over 30 degrees. If shelter or shade is not provided in the event of rain or heat, I may be unable to perform at my discretion. No refund will be provided.

  • Travel fee for venues further than 50km from 3178 is $100 for 50km-100km and $200 for 100km-150km away. If the venue is more than 75km away and has a finish time of 10:30pm or later, I may also need to charge an additional $200 accommodation fee.
